THE STYLISTS
In 2021, Heather was appointed as a Board Member to the Oklahoma State Board of Cosmetology and Barbering. In this capacity, she will serve a four-year term and was placed on three committees: Performance Appraisal Committee, Testing Committee, Website Committee. Most Board Members serve on only one committee; however, Heather’s exceptional experience and background made her the perfect candidate to serve on multiple committees. The Performance Appraisal Committee evaluates and measures the performance and worth of the Executive Director. The Testing Committee evaluates and measures the cost, procedures, and validity of the practical and written tests administered by OSBCB. The Website Committee reviews the website and makes improvements. These roles and responsibilities add to Heather’s ability to provide consistent oversight of all operations. Heather loves the opportunity to share the love and passion God has given her with her clients, employees, friends, and family. Her family (husband Derrick, children Trenton 25, his wife Shana and grandson Kohen, granddaughter Wrinlee, Camryn 18, Aspen 16, Peyton 15, and Blakely 5) are her driving force for all she does.

Heather Sinclair began her education in cosmetology at Meridian Technology Center in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Upon graduation, she began working at JCPenney Salon while taking advanced classes at Duncan Brothers School of Hair Design in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Heather graduated from High School having earned her high school diploma, cosmetology license, and advanced color certifications, showing her drive to be the best in the Oklahoma hair industry. At 24 years old, Heather opened Hello Gorgeous Salon. As owner, she maintained all duties associated with the administrative side of the salon. She managed the financials, human resources, and the daily activities associated with running a successful business. Heather also attended Anthony David School of Design, earning her Barber license and within the following year her Master Instructor license. After becoming a Master Instructor, Heather opened Hello Gorgeous Barber School. She used her administrative knowledge and skills to manage all aspects of both businesses.

Along with State Board, Heather was also selected as members two National boards. The NIC (National Interstate of Cosmetology) elected Heather to the Executive Board, serving as the Executive Director of Region 3. Her passion for barbering was recognized by the National Association of Barber Boards of America (NABBA) as she was selected serve as the assistant to the CEO. These roles and responsibilities add to Heather’s ability to provide consistent oversight of all operations. Heather loves the opportunity to share the love and passion God has given her with her clients, employees, friends, and family. Her family (husband Derrick, children Trenton 26, his wife Shana and grandson Kohen, Granddaughter Wrenlee, Camryn 19, Aspen 17, Peyton 16, and Blakely 6) are her driving force for all she does.

Derrick
Derrick Sinclair was born and raised in Stillwater. He is a graduate of Oklahoma State University and will forever be a Cowboy. Derrick became a barber in 2020, graduating from Hello Gorgeous Barber School; he went on to continue his education there and graduated from the Master Barber Instructor program in 2021. He has a passion for all aspects of the industry and is always looking to learn new trends and techniques. He enjoys getting to know his clients and the great conversations from behind the chair. Derrick enjoys spending his free time with his beautiful wife and kids.
Carl G.
Carl Green has been in the hair industry since the early 1980’s. He specializes in cuts, colors and perms for men and women. Carl has been a staple at Hello Gorgeous Salon since the day it opened in 2004. He is available by appointment only.
Rachel B.
Rachel Blackmon has been a barber since 2015. She wanted to expand on her barbering knowledge and career, taking advanced Barber classes at Hello Gorgeous Barber School. Rachel didn’t stop there; she completed the Master Barber Instructor Program in 2018 and is now one of the instructors at Hello Gorgeous Barber School. Rachel has a passion for learning and educating in the beauty industry and specializes in blonde, balayage, all the latest color trends and excels in the Barber field of fades and hot shaves! Rachel has been a part of the Hello Gorgeous team since 2016 and has been managing the salon since 2017.
Christa G.
Christa Greene has been in the industry for 16 years and is a dual licensed Cosmetologist and Barber, as well as a Master Barber Instructor. As a child, she always wanted to do hair. She began her career with the drive to never be satisfied with her current education and loves to learn new trends, techniques and products. Christa loves making people happy, and getting to know her clients is the most rewarding part of what she does. She has a goal to be the best she can be at everything she does. From straight razor shaves to hair color and makeup, she can do it all and loves every minute of it. Christa has been a part of the Hello Gorgeous team since 2011 and has been managing the salon since 2015.
DJ
Jay Ellis comes to us with more than 17 years experience in the hair industry. He is a master colorist with Matrix and Wella. Being an extension specialist with Dream Catchers, Donna Bella and Babe gives him the knowledge to create voluminous looks for his clients. Additionally, DJ specializes in fades. DJ enjoys having fun with others & being the life of the party. He lives his life using the words of Joseph B. Wirthlin as his guide; "As the butterfly, adversity is necessary to build character in people." We encourage you to enjoy the DJ Experience!

Brittany Glasby has been in the industry since 2015. Brittany brings so much talent and specializes in men’s services. She is looking forward to building her clientele and growing with our Hello G family!
Jesse
Jesse is an honorable and proud Veteran. He dedicated 16 years to assisting people with disabilities! Jesse decided to step into the barbering industry in 2020. He graduated from Hello Gorgeous Barber School in January of 2020. His passion for the industry guided him directly to Hello G on the Strip! Jesse loves the Barbering industry, fishing, music and photography!
Robbin
Robbin Patterson is a Stillwater Native as well as a 1989 graduate of Central State Beauty Academy in Oklahoma City, making her a 30-year veteran cosmetologist, holding licenses in Oklahoma and Colorado. Her passion is color & color correction, and she loves trying new fun colors. Robbin is very experienced in men’s and military cuts. Robbin has been a part of the Hello Gorgeous team since 2016.

Garrett Deaton-Rodgers completed Stillwater Beauty Academy in December 2012. He became a Hello Gorgeous team member in December 2019. He plans on furthering his education at Hello Gorgeous Barber School. Garrett is “The” Vivid specialist! who also enjoys doing fades! He loves dramatic change and making his clients happy!

Haley
Haley is a Hello Gorgeous Barber School graduate who is more than just a barber. She is also skilled in women's cuts and color. Her favorite services are one that involve the straight razor. In her free time, Haley enjoys roller skating in the warmer weather and prefers staying in with friends rather than going out. She is an animal lover but currently doesn't have any pets of her own!
